#Erythropoietin তৈরি হয় #Kidney থেকে।CKD তে আমরা সবাই জানি, Renal Function Dimished থাকে।এই কারনে Erythropoietin production কম হয়!
আর Erythropietin এর কাজ হল red cell precursor কে stimulate করে RBC এর production বাড়িয়ে দেয়া। তাই CKD তে  Red cell precursors কম তৈরী হয়!
একারনেই #anemia হয় এই সব রোগীদের!
এক্ষেত্রে রোগী কে আমরা বাইরে থেকে Erythropoietin Supplementation দিবো!
কিন্তু erythropoietin দেবার আগে অবশ্যই #iron_deficiency থাকলে সেটা Correct করে নিতে হবে।
না হলে erythropoietin বেশি বেশি red cell precursor তৈরী করতে গিয়ে ,iron storage আরো কমিয়ে ফেলবে। তখন দেখা দিবে আরো severe Iron Deficiency Anemia ।
